Miami, FL – April 7, 2026 – The Pennsylvania Compensation Rating Bureau (PCRB) partnered with Digital Silk on a full platform redesign.
The new site, live at pcrb.com, replaces a fragmented, PDF-heavy structure with a modern, scalable experience.
Members often struggled to find resources quickly. Internal content workflows stayed inefficient, too.

Transforming a Complex, Document-Heavy Ecosystem
PCRB’s previous platform had outdated UX, limited searchability and heavy reliance on static PDFs.
Digital Silk rebuilt the architecture from the ground up. Content was reorganized around how members actually use the site.

Launching a Centralized Digital Library
A core feature is the new Digital Library. It gives members instant access to the most current Pennsylvania workers’ compensation manuals from one screen.

The build also added secure hosting for technical guides, automated PDF generation, and improved governance for ongoing updates.
Supporting Long-Term Scalability and Performance
The new site runs on an enterprise-level WordPress CMS, giving PCRB a more flexible foundation for growth.
“Moving to a modern website platform significantly improves our security posture, performance and scalability, while giving us the flexibility to continuously evolve how we deliver data to members,” said Lisa Linder, VP of IT & CIO at PCRB.
Before the redesign, PCRB’s platform saw roughly 81,837 annual users, averaging 1 minute 16 seconds per session and 1.9 pages per visit. The new platform is built to improve on that baseline.
Early outcomes point to better usability, clearer navigation and stronger confidence in accessing up-to-date materials, on a foundation built to scale.
